BIG SOLAR campaign
Launched in electorates across Australia over the last couple of weekends. See our DCAN photos below.
QUIT COAL is fighting the development of a massive BROWN COAL export industry in Victoria and also the beginning of fracking for gas (COAL SEAM GAS) in Victoria.
This year there are council elections, with the chance to do great things for sustainability at a local level.
Meanwhile as the storm clouds develop over Europe and peak oil has well and truly passed – what does the Occupy Movement and recognition of the 99% up against the 1% mean for the climate movement?
Here we are in the seat of Batman with Martin Ferguson the biggest impediment to 100% renewable energy and the biggest supporter of massive coal and gas expansion, and willing to threaten vandalism to the Great Barrier Reef and the Kimberley coast.
BIG SOLAR
On March 3 we were part of a massive Big Solar launch across Australia.
Help us be part of the target of reaching 10.000 conversations with the public on making BIG SOLAR happen.

ENVIROSHOP
The Enviroshop in Northcote has been a great supporter of DCAN since our formation in 2007.
The Enviroshop has offered to donate $25 to DCAN each time a customer is signed up to Solar Hot Water or Solar PV from our membership.
